1. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: your name, email address, profile image, and authentication identifiers when you sign in with Google, email, or a magic link.
- League activity: your manager profile, team name, draft selections, lineups, scores, waiver claims, watchlists, trades, and other actions taken inside the league.
- Technical information: basic request logs, device or browser information, IP address, timestamps, and security events produced by our hosting and authentication providers.
- Support communications: information you choose to provide when contacting the commissioner or requesting assistance.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate invited members, operate and score the fantasy league, display league standings and activity, provide player and matchday features, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and communicate about the service.
League gameplay information—such as manager names, team names, rosters, transactions, and results—may be visible to other invited league members.
3. Service providers
HopFPL relies on service providers that process information on our behalf, including:
- Supabase for authentication and database services;
- Vercel for application hosting and operational logs;
- Google when you choose Google sign-in;
- Sportmonks for football player, club, fixture, and match statistics; and
- OpenAI for selected league editorial or assistant features.
We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
4. Data retention and deletion
We retain account and league information while it is needed to operate the league, preserve season history, resolve disputes, or meet security and legal obligations. You may request access, correction, account unlinking, or deletion by contacting us. Some historical competition records may be retained in a minimized form so prior standings and results remain understandable.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access, encrypted hosting services, and restricted administrative controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices
You may choose not to use Google sign-in and use another available sign-in method. You can also revoke HopFPL's Google access from your Google Account settings. Because HopFPL is invite-only, access may be removed when a member leaves the league.
7. Children's privacy
HopFPL is intended for invited adult league members and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes and contact
