1. Eligibility and accounts
You may use HopFPL only if you are an invited league member and can legally agree to these terms. You are responsible for maintaining control of your sign-in credentials and for activity performed through your account. Do not share access with anyone who is not an invited member.
2. League participation
HopFPL provides tools for drafting players, managing lineups, tracking scores, submitting waivers, proposing trades, and participating in league discussion and editorial features. League rules shown in the application and reasonable commissioner decisions form part of these terms.
Scoring corrections, provider updates, fixture changes, technical failures, and rule clarifications may require the commissioner to adjust results or league data to preserve fair play.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to access another member's account or restricted administrative functions;
- interfere with the service, automate abusive requests, or attempt to circumvent security controls;
- upload unlawful, threatening, infringing, or malicious material;
- misrepresent your identity or manipulate league data outside the permitted game features; or
- use HopFPL or its data for commercial resale without written permission.
4. Football data and intellectual property
The HopFPL application, original design, league tools, and original editorial content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Football statistics and related data may be supplied by Sportmonks or other identified providers and remain subject to their respective rights and terms.
HopFPL is an independent, unofficial fantasy game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Premier League, its clubs, or their players.
5. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features; correct errors; update league rules; or restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or fair competition. We will try to communicate material league changes to members.
6. No warranties
HopFPL is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for private entertainment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HopFPL and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, or loss arising from reliance on fantasy scores, projections, or third-party football data.
8. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for violation of these terms, security concerns, removal from the league, or conduct that materially harms the service or other members. You may stop using the service at any time.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as HopFPL develops. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Questions can be sent to pierre@eqonomic.com.
